I have been keeping my eye on this little beast for some time and now it has final launched, with a lot more success than the people at Raspberry pi had expected.
So about now most of you will be wondering what the hell is it lol? Well this little beauty is the Raspberry pi a new micro computer not much bigger than a credit card! And if that is not enough its going to sell for less than £30. The units was designed to be as cheep as possible whilst still making a profit to help the raspberry foundations charity.
Along with raising money this little gem will also help the computer programmers of the future as it has been designed with education in mind, Schools will be able to afford these little units and start showing the kids what it can do.

The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card sized computer board that plugs into a TV and a keyboard. It’s a miniature ARM-based PC which can be used for many of the things that a desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word-processing and games. It also plays High-Definition video.

With a spec like that there is quite a lot of things I can see this being used for Im personally hoping to buy a few of these units and network them together so I can use XBMC in each of my rooms with the addition of a web browser on all my TV’s . This with the addition of some of the cool things I’ve seen on the net so far will bring the multi-room media centre to a whole new level!
I’ve never been a big fan of Valentine’s day myself as don’t believe I need to declare my love to people on one day a year (this should happen every day) , I also don’t see the point in lining the pockets of big businesses while I’m at it lol.
That said I was quite amused tonight when I was sat behind a younger couple (probably in there teens but not old enough to drink), they had obviously been out for the day or were off out as they were very well dressed (aswell as kids do these days lol). They were holding hands and giggling at each others storeys. It was really sweet even when the geeky looking lad (who was quite honestly shooting beyond him lol) started explaining what the street fighter game was like that he had just bought lol. I don’t think this was on her list of ways to get taken to his bedroom on valentines day lol but I got to hand it to him it was a good try lol .
I guess things are much simpler at that age lol. For me these days the sexyist thing I can hear is “do you want a cup of tea?” Obviously this is from Mrs Tubby and Tattooed not a customer when I’m working lol .
